Getting to Talk About Idols with a Fellow Blogger

First off, let me say that it’s been pretty busy in this time around but thankfully I’ve been finding time to work on some posts here and there. Just be on the lookout for a post or two on here and also over on #moe404! 🙂

Secondly, I want to make this short because this “introduction” isn’t the main thing I want you to read but I’ve been in the works on a collaboration with my good friend and aniblogger, Leap250! Overtime I’ve been talking with them on Twitter, finding out that we have a lot in common when it comes to the things we like in Japanese entertainment culture (like idols) so I was really glad we found something that we can both write about in a post. And to give you a short overview of what we’ll be talking about in this series of posts: it’s essentially a reaction/review of a documentary called Tokyo Idols (2017) revolving around the Japanese idol phenomenon and sort of getting a closer look at the realities of it from the idol’s and fan’s perspective.

Also if you have never heard of Leap or their blog, I highly suggest you should check them out! Other than their nice discussions about various anime, let me just say that they certainly know their stuff when it comes to things like music or idols, as I always come to them for suggestions for great music…

…and if you think I’m knowledgeable in Japanese idol culture, it’s really no comparison 😛 (however I still had fun talking about this documentary with my limited knowledge tho haha)
